I agree with Big Lou; there was not much for a hunter/shooter here. I'm not interested in weapons... I don't want/need to defend myself from a deer or quail. I want to see more of the new tools for hunting, and the things associated with hunting.
I would have loved to visit the show this year. I'd like to see more of the new guns released this year. Less of the tactical gear. Isn't ther a separate police/tactical show for those guys?
I agree with swampy.....Tiffany is the only reason to watch the show except for the big deer they shoot. Hope to see them @ the Outdoor Show in Pa. next month!
Great new stuff.I would like to trysome of that .410 ammo. Why it shoots five times.load a 45 long colt then a shotshell and so on.The secure gun rig on the pack would be a monster where i hunt in the vines.I had a back scabbard make by Prisioners at a local penitentuary but it had too much tannin in it,any moisture and it would start eating on my guns. But it worked great.
That would be nice to be there! I like what I see but the secure gun thing I dont understand? When I hunt I hike alot threw thick cover sometimes if up to it & I got to take my gun off & carry it to navigate the thickness. I also would like my rifle easy access just incase I look tasty to some animal who in a blink of a eye decides to rush me. keep'm coming though good stuff!
OK I'll take the sleeping bag, the backpack, the boots and Polaris quad. I didn't see any prices listed so I'll try not to get anxious as I wait for the total. In the mean time I'll consider the replacement for those stupid mummy bags that made me claustrophobic, the backpack that will hold my rifle securely, the boots that just may keep my feet warm and have the traction to keep me off my butt, and finally the quad that will save my aching knees and allow me to take along some friends. Thank you Outdoor Life for keeping us tuned to all the new toys, rather 'tools' we need so badly.

Maybe its just me but that guy Lakosky is one lucky dude. They would do better if they showed more of her and less of him. Nuthin personal though!
